Meet The Founder

Cyndi Ramirez took the leap into starting her own chill empire of spa and self-care offerings after realizing there was a major void in the space. “My husband and I were trying to get massages one day and realized we didn't love our options. That opened up a conversation around the spa world and how it was ripe for modernization. We opened up our first location in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in 2017 and now have a location in Soho and one in Paris opening in summer 2022.”

A few weeks into opening the first Chill House store, Ramirez got an email from Nike. “They wanted to fully partner with us on a campaign. I went to grab lunch with my husband and I started crying tears of joy. I think that's when I realized that our brand was much more than our services.”

At the start of the pandemic, Ramirez and her team fast-tracked the launch of Chill Tips, their line of non-toxic press-on nails. “The launch date was also my son's due date. I like to think that was a great omen!”
