Meet The Founder


Maxine Tomoto “selfishly” created her first product, the Super Ego Antioxidant Face Oil, for herself only to realize that she wanted to share it with the world. “Without the immense support from my family and friends, the product would have never made it past my medicine cabinet,” she says.

But make it out, it did. “I was at a market and someone approached my table to say that they saw my stuff on Instagram, and came specifically to pick up one of my products,” recalls Tomoto, It proved my brand goes beyond the support of my family and friends, but from actual strangers.

Tomoto, who is based in Vancouver, still makes her oils herself in small batches. “I'm really happy to see people excited to take care of their skin with our products, from 20-year-olds using the face oil, to my dad realizing that skincare goes beyond a bar of soap!”
