Why We Love it

A vegan, chocolate-y way to get your collagen (and thus promote healthier hair, skin and nails). Like all of the brand’s products, this drink blend is the result of months working with the best herbalists to source and dose, and created with organic ingredients where possible. The dosages are all backed by scientific research, as well as in-house studies to demonstrate efficacy. Plus, they’re packaged in 45% recycled materials, with a goal to further innovate earth-friendly packaging this year.

Meet The Founder

CAROLINE YACHANIN

Years of using harsh acne medications like oral antibiotics and two rounds of Accutane left Caroline Yachanin’s skin dry and depleted and her gut health in shambles. So she turned to holistic and herbal medicine as a better alternative. “It changed my life,” says Yachanin. “I saw the power of plants to heal us from within and bring the best of plant medicine to all with Copina Co. All our blends were formulated by herbalists, are 100% vegan, and help to support your body's natural collagen production, all from plants.”

When it came to the launch, the founder gave herself a hard deadline. “My husband was on active duty in the Navy at the time, and was set to deploy for a long period of time in early 2020. I decided to turn lemons into lemonade and to launch a company right after he departed.”

“Honestly, launching in the middle of a pandemic was extremely challenging. So many retailers weren't willing to take on new products when things were so crazy.” But Yachanin’s luck changed once Erewhon agreed to stock her all-natural products. Customer feedback is something else the founder is proud of. “I get so many messages from individuals across the world saying that our products fundamentally changed peoples' skin and shifted their perception about what plants can do.”
