When Ali Kaminetsky was working in retail after graduating from college in 2016, she—like many fresh grads—was on a tight budget. So she brought her lunch with her to work every day. However, “I did not have a chic way to do so!” says the founder of Modern Picnic, a chic accessory line born from an obvious problem: most lunch boxes on the market are made for little kids—or dudes.
“Taking my idea from a concept to reality with no background in manufacturing feels like my first success,” shares Kaminetsky. “From there, there has always been something about hearing from our customers whether that be through email, DM or the pictures they tag us in. I love seeing our products being put to use by all of these incredible women.”
