There a couple ways to find solid career advice. One involves a series of tricky steps. First, you scout out potential mentors on social media. Second, you scour the internet for their email addresses (because, no, they’re not listed on Twitter). Then, after brushing off an email bounce-back (or two, or three), you contact said people via LinkedIn with a request to “meet for coffee.” You pray one will eventually respond.
Or consider a second scenario: You download some great podcasts for career advice and… that’s it. There are a number of podcasts on the market today that can help you navigate your career.
