Do:

  • ✅ Always use numerals when referring to a person’s age 
  • ✅ Use the active voice
  • ✅ Capitalize a formal title before a person’s name

Don’t: 

  • 🚫 Use the phrase ‘preferred pronoun’ 
  • 🚫 Spell out numbers over 10 
  • 🚫 Use a hyphen when the modifier runs after the subject/object
