As Girlboss has entered its new era, it is important to the company to focus on meaningful launches and collaborations that will signify the new meaning of Girlboss and help women achieve success on their own terms. The partnership with Vancouver-based brand Brunette the Label brings the brand’s core values of uplifting others and women’s empowerment to the forefront. This apparel launch comes on the heels of Girlboss’ recently re-launched podcast, with new host Avery Francis. “For our first apparel launch, we wanted to partner with a brand whose values aligned with our own,” says Jules Diva, Girlboss designer and designer of the collection, “Brunette the Label is female-led, collaborative, inclusive and unapologetic but still playful, so we saw plenty of natural synergies between the two of us. Together we wanted to create a collection that offered a comfy work-from-home uniform to our communities that is still relevant and modern.”
The Girlboss x Brunette the Label collaboration includes heavyweight French cotton terry sets and hats in pink, lilac, brown, white and black. Each piece in the collection is branded with classic Girlboss slogans such as “Girlbossed Too Close To The Sun”, “In My Girlboss Era”, “Recovering People Pleaser” and “No Worries If Not!” “When I first learned about Girlboss, I was inspired by the movement,” says Miriam Alden, founder of Brunette the Label, “I was a new entrepreneur, and being known as a ‘girlboss’ was special to me at the time. I also felt a camaraderie with other girlbosses. That brings us to today, and this collaboration.” Ranging from $29-$88 USD and in sizes X/S to XXXL, the collection is available to shop online on girlboss.com and on brunettethelabel.com starting today.
