Thanks to MAC Cosmetics, though, National Lipstick Day is one fake holiday that just got a whole lot easier to celebrate. In honor of National Lipstick Day, MAC and other beauty brands are giving away free lipsticks and lip products. Yes, you read that correctly: MAC is distributing free lipsticks. So get ready to stock up—and wait in line.
In 2018, National Lipstick Day falls on Sunday, July 29. To celebrate this year, MAC is giving out one free lipstick to customers at participating stores worldwide. MAC lipsticks are the best-selling category of items for the company. Each little tube of pigment retails for more than $18.
How to get your free lipstick from MAC
The catch? There is none. All you have to do is show up at a MAC store and ask for one of the nine lipsticks available. The shades on offer are Tanarama, Aloof, Delish, Florabundi, Moxie, Epic, Dare You, Chintz, and Mixed Media, according to People.com. The offer will last until supplies run out, so plan to get there early and wait in line like customers did last year. If you place a minimum order of $25 on Sunday, you can add another free lipstick in one of the nine shades available.
MAC isn’t the only beauty brand celebrating National Lipstick Day in 2018. Brands like Winky Lux, IT Cosmetics, Stila, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Bobbi Brown are giving out their own freebie lip products, according to Bustle. Stila will offer a buy one, get one free deal on its lipsticks. The other brands offer a free lipstick with a minimum purchase.
