Halloween is about more than just the dark rise of evil spirits from the underworld, you know. It’s about friends. And it’s about dancing to goth party songs.
What’s your favorite Halloween inspired banger? “Monster Mash” is epic, but slightly overplayed. And while “Thriller” is objectively the King of spooky songs, there are plenty of other funky, frightening offerings your house party could benefit from this year.
But don’t fear! You CAN have it all—all the Halloween horror night tunes your bloody, sweaty, costumed self can even handle.
Step 1: Throw a house party. Tell all your pals that outrageous costumes are completely mandatory. Step 2: Let your freak flag fly on the living room d-floor by putting Girlboss’ spooky Halloween party playlist on the speakers. Step 3: Dance, dance, dance ’til your dead.
This particular Spotify playlist, like the ones that came before it, was lovingly curated by me, to you. With the soul intention of making your ears happy and your spooky feet dance-y.
I really hope you like it, because Halloween is one of the few times my indepth knowledge of dark ’80s bands is impressive to all, and not just fellow goths-gone-profesh.
