This $38 CC Cream Is A Literal Miracle For Your Face

I’ve never been into makeup. I blame the fact that when I was a kiddo, I dressed up as Princess Jasmine for Halloween, and my mom gave me the most aggressive eyebrows and cat-eye eyeliner any six-year-old has ever had in the history of the world.

This experience scarred me and must have extinguished any nascent curiosity I had about makeup, because from ages 15 to 30, I never strayed from the regimen assigned to me by a MAC saleswoman in a suburban mall: Foundation, blush, mascara, clear lip balm.

But in a recent effort to force some SPF onto my face with minimal effort, I recently came across an actual miracle: It Cosmetic’s Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+.

It glides onto your skin like it’s channeling figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi, and one pump goes the distance. Somehow manages to be incredibly moisturizing without getting all “HI I AM MOISTURIZER,” the coverage is incredible.

It also smells nice—floral but not cloying, with just a touch of nostalgic sunscreen-ness.

And it’s formulated to improve your skin while you’re wearing it because it’s also a serum. A serum! They managed to sneak in some hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and vitamins A, B, C and E.

Normally, I’m the type to call bullshit on a product name that’s low key insulting—how do they know it’s going to be better than my skin?! And their website is all braggy: “IT’S YOUR #1 BEST-SELLING, AWARD-WINNING BEAUTY MIRACLE!” it shouts at you.

But, you guys. It really is like your skin, but better, even if you have amazing skin. Even if you’re J Lo.

Alright fine, J Lo probably doesn’t need this. But us mere mortals do. They’re not lying when they call it a beauty miracle.

It’s $38 for 1.08 fluid ounces, and it comes in seven shades. Go on and get your better skin.
